Upon arrival at Mount Vernon, you'll watch an 11-minute orientation film courtesy of the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association. Then, enjoy a guided tour of George Washington's restored 1799 mansion. You'll have leisure time to explore the grounds, see innovative farming demonstrations (April through October), and visit original and reconstructed buildings that depict 18th-century plantation life. The visit also includes George & Martha Washington's 1831 tomb.
